Description

When you book this ticket to the Molinete Roman Forum Museum you'll enjoy one of the most outstanding archaeological sites in Cartagena and in the whole of Spain.

The complex is made up of a group of buildings that includes the Temple of Isis and the thermal baths of the Port, a meeting place for the Romans, and the Atrium building. The latter was the seat of the collegium, the place where banquets were held in honor of the goddess Isis. The buildings are located around the main axis of the city in Roman times, known as the decumanus.

With this ticket, you will visit the ancient roads of Carthago Nova and its walls with pictorial decorations. Travel back to the ancient Roman Empire to discover the daily life of Roman citizens, dedicated to worship and banquets.

Wandering through the different spaces of the museum, you'll discover the history of Cerro del Molinete as you make your way through the collection of artifacts and Roman relics.

The complex, whose restoration was awarded the National Prize for the Restoration & Conservation of Cultural Heritage in 2012, has recently been restructured. It now offers a higher quality visitor experience with the opening of the new MolineteRoman Forum Museum.
