Join us to explore the southern coast of Turkey on this day trip to Kekova and Demre. Turquoise waters, sunken cities and Roman ruins await us!

Description

At the scheduled time we'll meet at Teke Harita Kadastro Mühendislik Bürosu, in Kaş. Once we've all arrived, we'll travel by minibus to the Demre Harbour, where we'll hop onto a boat and begin our trip along Turkey's southern coast.

Once we get going on our traditional Turkish boat, we'll sail towards Kekova Island on crystal-clear Mediterranean waters. During the journey, we'll hear the stories and legends that are attached to this area, such as the one about the old Dolchiste. We'll make our first stop near the sunken city of Simena, where you'll have an hour of free time to explore its ruins.

We'll then return to the boat and continue sailing around the coast of Kekova. From the boat, we'll see the Pirate's caves, and we'll also sail to Burc Bay, where we'll anchor so that you can take a dip and enjoy an onboard lunch.

Next stop? Demre! Here you'll have more free time to visit San Nicolás Church, the place where Father Christmas is buried. You'll also be able to travel back in time and explore the Myra ruins, whose amphitheatre and tombs built into the rock have been perfectly conserved.

Finally, we'll begin our return journey to Kaş, where the tour will come to a close after around 10 hours.
