Hi, I've always had good experiences with Civitatis activities, but this one seemed to lack information. The visit to the tower was fine; the guide was at the meeting point and we went up without any problems. But here's the thing: the bus and boat tours are done with audio guides, which really isn't the same as having a guide giving explanations point by point. Thank you very much!

My friends and I chose the bus tour, followed by the Seine riverboat, and finally the Eiffel Tower. The guides were friendly and professional, some a bit hasty, but completely clear and practical. The only downside, which wasn't Civitas' fault, was that on the day of the Eiffel Tower tour, even though we had paid to go upstairs, due to maintenance reasons, it wasn't possible. I've currently requested a refund for this reason and am awaiting a response from Civitas.

We arrived at the meeting point, the guide handed out the papers, and accompanied us to the Eiffel Tower. We never saw him again. I thought we'd have a guide for the entire 5 hours the tour is supposed to last. On the bus, they give you a QR code, and the guide (who is a different person) doesn't get on where the other passengers are and even gets off the bus before the tour is over. So, my summary, especially since I was with children, is that you spend €99 per person and you're on your own.

You sell the activity as a package, but it's not. Each part is separate; if you go along with it, great, if not, that's fine too. They tell you to meet at a designated point, explain what the three things entail, and that's it. The guide accompanies you to the Eiffel Tower, and that's it. You're on your own. It shouldn't be like this. If it's an activity, the guide should accompany you throughout until the end. I'm sorry, I didn't enjoy it.

We thought it was absurd that they told us to come at 4:30 pm to get our Seine cruise tickets and then told us we couldn't do the bus tour until 10 pm. Of course, we couldn't stay. We're traveling with two children, and the heat wave makes everything more difficult. Who comes up with a five-hour gap between tours? We bought an activity package. Hopefully, they'll let us do the bus tour the day after tomorrow.

Well, the truth is I had to pay for the Seine cruise again myself, because in theory we were supposed to meet someone by the dock and we spent more than two hours waiting and going around in circles. We called the company and they told us they were very sorry about what had happened but that nobody was going to come there, that we should go to another meeting point. I told them that we had agreed to meet there and we had already wasted a lot of time and nobody came, so I bought the tickets again myself.

Translate this opinion into English.
